WISER Systems has launched a new series of technologically advanced antennas that provide advanced real-time asset tracking.
The company’s second-generation extended range antennas for its ATLAS™ and Locator live positioning systems will enhance the tracking range and accuracy of WISER’s yard management solutions.
WISER said the products are interoperable with existing systems and can provide precise wireless location tracking of hundreds to thousands of tagged items in real time, even in metal-dense environments.
“The system minimizes infrastructure needs while ensuring high accuracy, making it easy to install and use,” WISER said.
Gen 2 antennas are FCC certified for the United States and certified for operation in Canada, allowing for worldwide operation while maintaining the lightweight form factor of previous generations.
“Companies of all sizes can benefit from deploying WISER ATLAS and Locator in the field and across campus, seamlessly associating work orders and part numbers to tags via the WISER mobile/desktop app.
“This integration will enable instant location and tracking throughout a manufacturing facility, capturing indoor and outdoor processes,” WISER added in a statement.
The new antennas employ proprietary UWB Redundant Radio Localization and Tracking (RRLT) technology, enabling WISER’s ATLAS to address Industry 4.0 priorities including smart manufacturing, operational improvement, warehouse management, inventory control, supply chain logistics and yard management.
“Our new second generation antennas provide significant range and are the perfect solution for site-wide tracking,” said Mark Dirks, chief revenue officer at WISER Systems.
“It revolutionizes asset tracking by enabling real-time, highly accurate tracking of hundreds to thousands of work orders and assets simultaneously in outdoor environments.
“The system provides unparalleled accuracy with minimal infrastructure requirements, making it a cost-effective solution with a rapid payback period.”
WISER Systems will be unveiling its new Gen 2 antennas with live demos at the IMTS trade show in Chicago from September 9-14.
