Real Madrid have suffered a series of injury problems in recent weeks, with eight players currently injured, and there were fears that Arda Guler would join that list, but those fears appear to have been put to rest.
Guler was taken off in the 90th minute of Turkey’s 0-0 draw away to Wales on Friday night but was treated by a doctor and limped off at the end of the match. However, Marca said he simply suffered a physical blow to his knee, was put on ice and nothing more would happen.
The Whites are already without Dani Ceballos, Jacobo Ramon, Joao Martinez, Eduardo Camavinga, Eder Militão and David Alaba, with Ferland Mendy and Aurélien Chouameni also in doubt for the upcoming match against Real Sociedad. Manager Carlo Ancelotti is managing a thinner squad this summer and will undoubtedly be fearing the worst at this point.
