The Patchogue-based Blue Point Brewing Cask Ale Festival returns on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 2 to 6 p.m. This year marks the festival’s 20th year for Blue Point Brewing Company, now a subsidiary of Tilray Brands.
In addition to beer tastings, there will also be food trucks, live music from Warped Tour band Krush, DJ Kaution, and other entertainment.
Mark Burford, founder of Blue Point Brewing Company, said: “This event was truly a labor of love. Cask ale has always been something we produce and are passionate about. ” said in a news release about the festival.
“For 20 years now, Cask Ale Festival has been a cornerstone of our community, offering the most diverse beer selection and festive atmosphere in one place, and keeping people coming back year after year to celebrate. ” Burford added.
Festival attendees will have the opportunity to choose from more than 150 firkin-style beers from a variety of breweries, ranging from rare beers to fan favorites. There will be eight local food trucks on-site, as well as 20 market stalls featuring local crafts and products. Interactive activities include jousting and skateboarding demos.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to both Long Island Cares, which supports hunger relief, and SeaTac, which supports environmental protection efforts. Find out more about the festival and get tickets here.
