KINGWOOD, WV (WDTV) – Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital is hosting a back-to-school food donation drive to help students in need.

Student counselors and staff will enroll students in programs based on the need for confidentiality.
The hospital is accepting donations until September 6th.
Items needed include: granola bars, tuna and cracker packs, trail mix, breakfast cereal bars, mini cereal boxes, chicken and cracker packs, cheese and cracker packs, peanut butter and cracker packs, canned ravioli, spaghetti, beefaroni, lasagna, beef stew, pretzels, raisins, fruit cups, applesauce, pudding cups, sunflower seeds, animal-shaped crackers, and graham crackers.
Donations can be dropped off at MonHealth Preston Memorial Hospital, MonHealth Preston Memorial Hospital Primary Care locations, MonHealth Preston Urgent Care and MonHealth Preston Physical Therapy & Fitness Center in Bruceton.
“We are proud to play our role in supporting the needs of our local community through our collaboration with Food for Preston,” said Melissa Lockwood, chief administrative officer for Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital. “We encourage anyone who is able to donate to join us in making an impact in the lives of Preston County students.”
