Beatty Warren Middle School defeated Franklin Middle School 30-0 in middle school football on Wednesday at War Memorial Field.
Beatty led 14-0 after the first quarter on two touchdown passes from quarterback Parker Kiser to Collin Blair, one for 10 yards and another for 20 on a catch-and-run. Kiser also recorded a two-point conversion and an interception on defense as Warren took control.
Beatty ended the first half up 14-0 thanks to fumble recoveries by Noah Pape and Grant May in the second quarter.
Beatty took control in all three facets of the game in the third quarter: Collin Hager blocked a punt, May intercepted the ball and Wyatt Wilson intercepted another pass and returned it 22 yards for a touchdown.
Offensively, Tucker Sanford added a 3-yard touchdown run and Sanford and Kiser completed two-point conversions to make it 30-0.
