New York City’s new luxury hotel, Kimpton Rockefeller Center, is scheduled to open in late 2025, bringing a new wave of boutique elegance to one of Manhattan’s most iconic locations.
The latest addition to the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants portfolio marks the brand’s third property in New York City, offering travelers a stylish gateway to quintessential New York from the heart of the city’s most popular tourist destination.
Developed in collaboration with Extell Development Company, the 33-story Kimpton Rockefeller Center will be designed by New York-based SLCE Architects and INC Architecture & Design.
In addition to expansive views of the city skyline, the design-conscious hotel will feature 529 guestrooms and inviting social spaces including two full-service restaurants, a lobby lounge and a rooftop bar. Additional amenities include a fitness center, two unique meeting and social spaces, a pet-friendly policy and some of Kimpton’s most popular perks and programs.

Located on 48th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, Kimpton Rockefeller Center offers travelers an ideal starting point for exploring. Those looking for a classic New York experience can easily walk to the city’s most famous landmarks, including Radio City Music Hall, Central Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the Theater District, or enjoy upscale shopping along 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue.
Kimpton Rockefeller Center’s location also provides easy access to the city’s extensive transportation system, making it easy to get around Manhattan and the surrounding areas whether traveling for business or leisure.

Kimpton currently operates 75 hotels worldwide, with an additional 57 properties planned to open over the next three to five years in desirable destinations such as Riviera Maya, Lisbon, Riyadh and Brisbane. Kimpton Rockefeller Center will be Kimpton’s third hotel in New York City, joining Kimpton Hotel Theta and Kimpton Hotel Eventi.
