Prince Harry’s entourage will join him at a luxury mountain villa to celebrate his 40th birthday on Sunday (September 15), according to a new report.
The Duke of Sussex reportedly celebrated the event in California with Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibeth, before heading off on holiday with close friends.
According to GB News, the estranged son of Charles III will travel to his mountain home in California with his closest friends, some of whom may fly in from the UK.
The Duke of Sussex is also good friends with neighbour Orlando Bloom and singer Katy Perry. One person who is almost certain to attend is his close friend Nacho Figueres, whom the Duke of Sussex considers a brother.
Their friendship goes back nearly two decades – they’ve played polo together in various tournaments over the years – and the 46-year-old has been one of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s most vocal supporters, praising them in magazine interviews and television appearances.
Comedian James Corden, 46, is also expected to attend. The 46-year-old is thought to be particularly close with Harry, having appeared on The Late Late Show while Corden was host, and the pair went on a bus tour together and visited Meghan’s home.
Corden, who is currently filming the final episode of hit comedy “Gavin & Stacey,” said it was difficult to “criticize” the couple, referring to their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family and emigrate to the United States.
Another person who may attend is Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. The two have reportedly been friends for more than a decade, and the musician’s name also features in the royal’s infamous 2023 memoir, “Spare.”
