Mid-Hudson News Sports’ large girls soccer all-star teams (Class AAA, AA, A) are comprised of Section 9 players and Section 1 Dutchess County standouts.
This is a talented and deep group. The team was formed by Mid-Hudson News Sports staff in consultation with local coaches. Congratulations to all the players who made the team.

Name: Riley Pettigrew
School: Arlington
Grade: Senior
Players: Scored 19 goals and five assists to finish as Class AAA state runner-up. Pettigrew, a four-time Division 1 champion, will play at Division I University of the Sacred Heart next year.
Name: Eva Bofalow
School: Pine Bush
Grade: Junior
Players: Bofalow had 12 goals and 11 assists to lead Pine Bush to its first Section 9 title since 2005. She scored the winning goal in the Class AAA championship game. Buffalo scored multiple points in seven games.
Name: Eva Jordan
School: John Jay East Fishkill
Grade: Senior
Player: Scored 25 goals this season and finished his career with 57 goals. Jordan will play at Division II Pace University next year.

Name: Giulia Gigliotti
School: Our Lady of Lourdes
Grade: Senior
The players: Gigliotti, a fourth-year starter, has 31 goals and five assists this year. She is attracting attention from Division I schools.
Name: Johanna Bradley
School: Warwick
Grade: Junior
Player: Bradley was already committed to play at Virginia Tech and brought an incredible blend of speed and skill to the field. She finished the season with 21 goals and 7 assists.
Name: Emma Duffy
School: Goshen
Grade: Senior
Player: Duffy, who will play at Manhattan College next year, scored seven goals this season, including the winning goal in the Section 9 Class AA championship game. She graduated with 29 goals and led Goshen to two Section 9 championships (2022 and 2024).
Name: Samantha Setteducato
School: Valley Central
Grade: Senior
Player: A defensive midfielder who neutralized some of the best midfielders in Matchday 9. Seteducato also created scoring opportunities for the Class AA runners-up. Setteducato had six goals and five assists this year and finished his career with 32 goals and 16 assists. She plans to play in Manhattan next year.

School: Pine Bush
Grade: Junior
Player: Boffalo also played in the midfield for the Bushmen team, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.
Name: Callie Holos
School: John Jay East Fishkill
Grade: Senior
Player: Holos, a fourth-year starter, has locked down Jon Jay at the center back position. She has eight goals and six assists and will play next year at Division III powerhouse Misericordia University.
Name: Madison Heitman
School: Arlington
Grade: Senior
The Player: Led a defense that posted nine shutouts and outscored opponents 92-23. Heitman will play at Manhattan College next year.

Name: Julia Griffin
School: Goshen
Grade: Senior
Players: Griffin pitched seven shutouts and allowed 17 runs. She plans to play at Division II Pace University next year.

Junior forward Katie Cragan, Pine Bush: An unselfish player, Cragan also played midfield for Pine Bush, scoring 11 goals and six assists.
Senior Forward Samantha Key, Monroe-Woodbury: Led the team with nine goals and tied for the most assists (six). She had strong ball skills and a great left foot.
Senior Forward Madeline Dwyer, Arlington: Dwyer, who is headed to Western Connecticut State in the fall, has 15 goals and four assists this year.
Junior midfielder Kate O’Neill, Minisink Valley: The speedster played on the wing and up top. O’Neal had six goals and nine assists.
Father midfielder Emily Outley, Washingtonville: Scored 14 goals, including five game-winning goals, and added three assists.
Junior midfielder Hannah Staal, Valley Central: Had a breakout year as a playmaker with nine goals and six assists. Staal had 18 goals and 11 assists in three seasons.
Junior midfielder Kate Allen, Monroe Woodbury: Allen’s versatility allowed her to play both attacking and defensive midfield for the Crusaders. She had six goals and one assist.
Junior defender Kaylen Barysevich, Monroe Woodbury: A selfless player, Balisevich played as four different players and often filled in for injured players. She was most impressive at outside back.
Senior defender Juliana Farmer, Our Lady of Lourdes: Farmer was consistently a valuable mark-back and regularly shut down opposing strikers.
Senior Defender Gigi Obrigado, Goshen: He led Goshen’s defense and was a great scorer, graduating with 23 career goals.
Senior Goalie, Savannah Troast, Washingtonville: An experienced goaltender, Troast was also a valuable field player for the Wizards.
