A woman made a shocking discovery after saving on tons of household items from Facebook.
He was overjoyed just to get his hands on it, but hidden inside were kitchen utensils from luxury brands.
“My jaw hit the floor!!” exclaimed TikToker Amanda DeWitt (@itsamandadewitt) in a recent post.
Amanda explained that she bought the “stunning” Louis XVI Buffet through Facebook Marketplace for about a ninth of the normal price.
For reference, the Louis XVI Buffet version can cost over $20,000, according to the Wayfair listing.
So not only is this deal too sweet to be true, but Amanda also unlocks some cabinets to find even more “insane” value.

Inside was a complete Hermès china box set collection in mint condition, including decorative plates and dinnerware sets.
In the scene where Amanda is shocked and removes a box from the buffet, a distinctive orange box is shown.
“I mean beautiful, literally what dreams are made of,” the TikToker expressed.
I couldn’t keep quiet
It was a lucky find, but Amanda said she couldn’t continue with the buffet unless she told the vendor about it.
Given the value and perhaps sentimental value of the fine Hermès set, Amanda decides to tell them that she found some fine china among the antique buffet.
“I don’t know if this pottery was left there by accident or on purpose. Obviously I’m not a terrible person, so I sent a message to the person (the seller) who bought it from,” Amanda explained. did.
Despite her wishes not to have her Hermès collection returned, tracking video showed them returning to retrieve it.
Amanda could be seen holding her face in her hands in disappointment.
good samaritan
It wasn’t the outcome the TikToker was hoping for, but kudos to her for doing the right thing and reaching out to the seller, even though she could have just said nothing and kept her entire Hermès collection. Some people did.
“You did the right thing. I hope they respond appropriately to your honesty,” one person commented.
Valuable thrift items revealed
Here are some of the best thrift store finds.
“You can’t put a price on a clean conscience,” wrote another.
“The 5 seconds you had were still worth it. Glad you’re a good person,” added a third.
Others claimed they would have waited a little longer to contact the seller to see if they would contact them first.
Some criticized the move as selfish.
In any case, it wouldn’t be the first time in recent times that someone has recycled an item only to find out it was worth significantly more than they expected.
A clever shopper bought an $18 sofa at a thrift store, only to discover it was a famous design worth $10,000.
A buyer who searched for and found his “dream” cabinet at Goodwill discovered it was actually worth more than $4,000.
