“World News Tonight With David Muir” is a total audience (8.194 million), adults 25-54 (1.172 million), adults 18-49 (795,000) and all broadcasts and cables Ranked .1 Newscast. Based on Live+Same Day data from Nielsen Media Research, February 3, 2025.
“World News Tonight” outperforms “NBC Nightly News” (6.709 million, 1.003 million, 678,000, and 678,000, respectively), with total viewers of 1485 million, 169,000 adults, 25-54, 18-49 people. There are up to 117,000 adults. “World News Tonight” expands “NBC Nightly News” with total audience (+8% – 1.485 million vs. 1.378 million), 25-54 adults (+284% – 169,000 vs. 44,000) and 18 adults each week. I did. -49 (+290% – 117,000 vs 30,000). “World News Tonight” is annual margins with total audience (+9% – 1.485 million vs 1.360 million), adults 25-54 (+101% – 169,000 vs 84,000) and adults 18 margins annually with NBC Nightly News. I’ve increased the number. -49 (+102% – 117,000 vs. 58,000). “World News Tonight” last week’s adult 25-54 (+3%/+35,000 – 1.172 million vs 1.137 million) and adults 18-49 (+4%/+34,000 – 795,000 vs 761,000) I saw an increase. Standing as the only night newscast growing weekly at major adult demos. “World News Tonight” improved in the same week with all major target demos last year: total audience (+1%/+40,000 – 8.194 million vs 8.124 million), adults 25-54 (+ 7%/+74,000 – 1.172 million vs 1.098 million) and adults 18-49 (+9%/+64,000 – 795,000 vs 731,000). “World News Tonight” was the only nightly newscast that grew every year with viewers and adults 25-54. This week’s “World News Tonight” (8.1914 million, 172 million, 795,000, and 795,000, respectively) defeated “CBS Evening News” (4.552 million, 666,000, and 433,000, respectively, 666,000, and 433,000, respectively). 362,000 adults 18-49. Previous seasons, “World News Tonight” (7.8666 million) has ranked number one in total viewers for the ninth consecutive year, based on most of the current data. World News Tonight leads 1.551 million NBC Nightly News (6.315 million) and 330 million CBS Evening News (4.663 million). In fact, “World News Tonight” has surpassed NBC’s total audience lead since the 1994-1995 season compared to last season (+33% to 1.551 million vs. 168 million vs. 1.168 million) is expanding (+33% to 1.551 million vs. 168 million). “World News Tonight” ranks number one among adults, 25-54 and 18-49 in the sixth season. “World News Tonight” (1.24 million and 773,000 respectively) leads NBC (938,000 and 629,000 respectively), increasing the margin from last season by 25-54 adults (+210% – 186,000 vs 60,000 in triple digits and adults 18-49 (+157% – 144,000 vs. 56,000). Additionally, World News Tonight leads CBS Evening News (681,000 and 454,000 respectively), with 443,000 adults, 25-54 adults and 18-49 adults.
