Black Friday arrives early at Sam’s Club, if not as early as at its flagship Walmart and rivals Amazon and Target.
Sam’s Club, a division of Walmart Inc., is already previewing some of its upcoming Black Friday sales on SamsClub.com. However, exclusive early online access to the Black Friday sale begins Wednesday night, November 27th at 9:01 PM ET for Plus members and early on Thanksgiving Day for other club members. Starting only on November 28th at 12:01am ET.
The 600-warehouse membership shopping club will be closed on Thanksgiving, but early in-store shopping for Plus members will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29 and run until 10 a.m. At that time, all club members can shop. Sale ends on Monday, December 2nd.

Black Friday sale starts early
Even though the official date is Friday, November 29th, the day after Thanksgiving, some retailers have already started their Black Friday sales.
Target kicked off the holiday shopping season with a three-day Early Black Friday sale earlier this month and will continue its Sale of the Day special every day until Christmas Eve for members of its Target Circle free loyalty program. Earlier this week, Walmart’s early online Black Friday sales and in-store sales will be available this weekend. Amazon’s Black Friday week actually starts on Thursday, November 21st and runs through Friday, November 29th.
While many shoppers want to get an early start on their holiday shopping, there is some uncertainty as to whether consumers will spend more in 2024. The National Retail Federation expects consumer spending to increase 2.5% to 3.5% this holiday shopping season compared to 2023. 3.5%.
According to WalletHub research, nearly half (47%) of shoppers start their holiday shopping in October or earlier, primarily due to lower prices and more time to enjoy the holidays. . An additional 22% said they could “avoid holiday debt by spreading their purchases over several months,” WalletHub analyst Chip Lupo said in a press release about the survey.
