The president argues that such programs aimed at increasing diversity in the federal workforce are inherently discriminatory. The measure provides furloughs for employees who staff federal DEI programs and requires the agency to develop “reduction measures” for its staff.
And during Tuesday’s prayer at the National Cathedral, the Episcopal bishop of Washington directly confronted President Trump while the president and Vice President J.D. Vance sat in the front row.
