A West Roxbury teenager is being held without bail along with two others after allegedly brandishing a weapon and stealing an iPhone and several items of high-end clothing during a home invasion last month.
The 15-year-old boy was arraigned Tuesday in Dorchester Juvenile Court and faces charges of armed robbery and burglary, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office said in a news release. Authorities have not identified the teen, but he is scheduled to return to court Jan. 10 for a dangerousness hearing.
Prosecutors also asked the court to revoke the boy’s bail on two unresolved cases, but the judge deferred ruling on that request until a Jan. 10 hearing, the prosecutor’s office said.
According to a news release, prosecutors say the boy and two other male accomplices entered a home on Weld Street in West Roxbury around 1 p.m. on Nov. 17, and two men inside the home were attacked. He claims to have evacuated to a bedroom on the first floor. The boy and his alleged accomplices followed him, with one pulling out a handgun and the other two brandishing knives, according to the DA’s office.
Prosecutors said, “The man with the gun told the victim, “Give me all your belongings or I’ll shoot you and your dog.” At the time, the victim’s dog was in a box in the living room.” he pointed out. .

Boston police detectives identified the West Roxbury teen after a lengthy investigation based on neighborhood surveillance video and witness descriptions of the alleged intruder, the prosecutor’s office announced. Investigators are still searching for other people allegedly involved, the statement said.
