Fall sports are mid-season, with teams and athletes across the Greater Savannah area competing for a spot in the postseason.
There are a lot of teams this year with talented stars leading the way that could do big things. Here are some highlights from fall sports over the past few weeks.

Maggie Kyriakides, Savannah Christian Volleyball
The senior, who is committed to the University of Alabama, helped SCPS avenge a loss to St. Vincent College by recording seven kills, three blocks and six digs in a two-set win over St. Vincent College on Sept. 5. Kyriakides leads the Radiers (13-4) with 134 kills this season.
John Dodson, Benedictine Cross Country
The senior won the Fraser Height Cross Country Invitational with a time of 16 minutes, 25.20 seconds.
Leah Nice, Savannah Arts Cross Country
The senior won the Frazier Height Invitational Championship with a time of 20:21.10.
Gracie LaFleur, Effingham County Softball
The junior catcher recorded four hits in four at-bats, two doubles and a home run in a 4-2 win over Richmond Hill.
Julia Anastasio, Richmond Hill Cross Country
The junior finished fourth in the Carrollton Invitational Championship race with a time of 20:01.42.
Benjamin Hall, Richmond Hill Cross Country
The senior placed fourth in the Class 4A-6A race at the Carrollton Invitational Meet with a time of 16:41.43.
Alyssa Martin, South Effingham Softball
The sophomore went 2-for-3 with a double and five RBI in the win over Brunswick.
Ansley Giordano, Effingham County Softball
The third-year sophomore pitched a complete game, striking out 10 batters in a 4-2 win over Richmond Hill.
Jillian Austin, Savannah Christian Softball
The junior struck out six and allowed only two hits in the win over St. Vincent, going 2-for-3 with three bases loaded and one RBI.
Chloe Jesvain, St Andrews Volleyball
The freshman is having a breakout season for the Lions (15-1), leading the team with 134 kills and 15 blocks.
Talia Johnson, Richmond Hill Volleyball
The junior, who recently committed to Coastal Carolina University, leads the Wildcats (13-6) with 188 points this season.
Torin Higginbotham, Savannah Arts Volleyball
The senior leads the Panthers (14-8) with 171 kills this year.
Kaylin Gill, St. Vincent Volleyball
The junior led SVA (20-3) in kills and aces and was second on the team in digs.
