men’s basketball
-Cleveland State continues Horizon League play on the road this week with trips to Robert Morris State (Wednesday, Jan. 8) and Youngstown State (Saturday, Jan. 11).
-The Vikings enter this week on a six-game winning streak, including a 67-61 victory last time out against IU Indy.
-Cleveland State is currently 4-1 in the Horizon League and tied for second in the #HLMBB standings.

-Cleveland State returns home this week and plays one game, hosting Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday, January 12th.
-The Vikings split their road trip last time out with a 72-62 win over Detroit Mercy.
-Going into Sunday’s matchup with the Mastodons, the Vikings had won 29 straight home games, a winning streak that ranked second among Division I teams.
-Cleveland State is currently 5-1 in the Horizon League and ranked #2 among #HLWBB teams.

-The Vikings will play in the David H. Lehman ’68 F&M Open for the first time this Friday.
-In their last matchup, the Vikings opened MAC action against Ohio and picked up four wins on the night.
-Douglas Terry (157 pounds) and Tate Geyser (165 pounds) led the way with major decisions, while Ben Aranda (125 pounds) and Nick Morchak (133 pounds) picked up decisions.
-Terry currently leads the Green and White with a perfect 3-0 mark in dual matches.
Swim & Dive
-The Vikings begin the second half of the season on Friday, hosting Calvin on Senior Day.
-Cleveland State University will recognize 14 student-athletes before the start of the competition.
-The Vikings were last active in November, when the boys won the annual Magnus Cup Invitational and the girls placed fifth.

He averaged 20.5 points per game this week, including his 10th 20-point game of the season, scoring 26 points in a win over Detroit Mercy.
Taj Staveski, Men’s Basketball
Against IU Indy, he scored a team-high 20 points on 50 percent shooting from the floor and 50 percent from three-point range.

After an 11-2 blowout win over Ohio last week, they are now 3-0 in two games this season.
