Dejan, who turned 22 on Sunday, helped the Eagles stack up on the lead with a touchdown. This was Dejean’s first intercept and touchdown of his NFL career.
The second pick from Iowa, Dejean was in a standout rookie year, with 51 tackles and six passes defended and a forced fumble in the regular season. Entering Sunday’s game, he recorded 15 tackles and three passes in the postseason.
Dejan became the first player to score a birthday touchdown, but his teammates are also looking to achieve the feat. After spending his career years, Saquon Barkley celebrates his 28th birthday on Sunday. He can add to an outstanding season with a touchdown in the Super Bowl.
Berkley remembered in his first season with Philadelphia. The former New York Giants finished the regular season, finishing with 2,005 rushing yards (100 since matching a single-season rushing record) and 13 touchdowns. He can add to the incredible season with a birthday touchdown in the Super Bowl.
If Dejean and Barkley can win their first Super Bowl, it’s birthday to remember.
