MEMFIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a man accused of using his stolen identity to purchase a luxury vehicle.
On January 17th, officers answered a call about customers making fraudulent purchases.
According to MPD, suspect Christopher Jamison, 47, set up an online credit application using personal information stolen from a male victim.
The affidavit says the company receives calls from the victim and claims that Jamison is using his driver’s license and identity.
Jamison also reportedly used the victim’s identity to purchase several vehicles in the Lexus in Memphis and Lincoln in Memphis.

After further investigation, Jamison was taken into custody and is currently facing charges of property, identity theft and forgery theft.
