good morning,
Donald Trump is expected to deal with Saturday’s conservative political action meeting at Maryland’s National Port. His speech was primarily expected to show how his “make America great again” movement moved from the fringe to mainstream, as David Smith of the Guardian wrote. . .
Trump’s arrival at CPAC followed a chaotic week of domestic and global politics, during which US federal workers continued to face massive layoffs by his administration, but European geopoliticians remained in a precarious position as he denounced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. A “dictator” over Zelensky’s complaints that Ukraine is talking about Ukraine’s future, and that Ukraine was not invited to America’s Russia.
In 2023, Trump made a dark promise to his supporters in a CPAC speech. Other developments in American politics include:
Missouri Republican lawmakers have proposed registering pregnant women “at risk.”
Jasmine Crockett of the Texas Congress has said he is “helping” Canada and Mexico amid the threat of Trump.
A New York judge on Friday rejected a call from the Justice Department and quickly dismissed the corruption case of mayor Eric Adams.
