Around 4 p.m. Wednesday, a taxi drove onto a curb near Macy’s flagship store in Herald Square and hit a pedestrian on the sidewalk, police said. The driver remained at the scene.
Video footage from the scene showed a damaged yellow taxi cab blocked off with police tape on the sidewalk. It looks like the front bumper of the car has come off. The taxi was towed away in the evening.
