ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University’s online program received special recognition in the latest U.S. News & World Report university rankings. Five of the university’s programs have been named “Best Online Programs” by this respected digital media company. The 2025 rankings were released on Tuesday.
In its 13th year of collecting and analyzing data specific to online learning, U.S. News evaluated more than 1,600 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The rankings were calculated using factors such as student engagement, faculty qualifications, and services and technology.
Ashland stands out from its peers across Ohio and was recognized in the following categories:
Best Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs – #6 in Ohio, ranked 160 of 355 nationally Best Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Business – #8 in Ohio, 1 of 218 nationally ranked Best Online MBA Programs – #10 in Ohio and #150 of 355 in the nation Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans – #6 in Ohio and #150 of 102 in the nation Ranked #1 of the Best Online Master’s Degree Programs in Education – #8 in Ohio and #114 of 313 nationwide
