Denver (KDVR) – Centennial has some of the most comprehensive resorts in the country, according to the US News and World Report.
The publication recently released a 2025 ranking of hotels and resorts around the world, recognising two comprehensive resorts in Colorado.
Colorado Hotels ranked best in US news and global reports in 2025
Clark’s Vista Verde Guest Ranch created the list and was recognized for many activities including paddle boarding, horse riding, archery, hiking, mountain biking, yoga, skiing, snowshoeing and snow tubes. US News and World Report says the resort is family friendly, but it puts aside certain period of the year for adults-only holidays.
A stay at the resort includes 3 meals along with plenty of entertainment, guided activities, classes, wine, beer and soft drinks. According to the report, the only amenities at the extra cost are SPA services, premium wine, dog-like treatment and snowmobiles.
Vista Verde Guest Ranch was also one of the selections of US news and global reports for the best all-inclusive resorts for teens and the best all-inclusive resorts for families.
Granby’s C-Lazy U Ranch was also listed among the top 13 comprehensive family resorts in the United States. The publication focuses on the resort’s family-centric programming and offers activities that are particularly appealing to teenagers, including white water rafting excursions, cattle clinics and go-kart racing. , fly fishing, zipline, swimming, skiing, pickle balls, trap shooting, hatch throws, and more.

Staying at the resort includes a selection of gourmet food and wine, plus S’mores by the campfire. During the summer, families eat breakfast and lunch together, while adults spend time alone for dinner.
