PITTSBURGH — UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is one of the top 10 children’s hospitals in the country for endocrinology and pulmonary and lung surgery, according to the latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report. Although it fell off the top 10 honor roll overall, it was still one of the best in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Lawrenceville Hospital is ranked third in the Mid-Atlantic region behind Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., both of which are in the top 10 in the country by U.S. News and World Report, and New York-Presbyterian. The same rate as children’s hospitals. Columbia Hospital in New York City and Cornell and Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore.
This is the first time in two years that U.S. News & World Report has ranked children’s hospitals, and the first time that the top 10 has not been assigned a specific ranking from 1 to 10. UPMC Children’s Hospital was in the top 10 when the list was last published in 2023.
