Joseph Stepek, Associate Professor of Music, New York University Hawaii A 40-year-old Manoa woman has been named to Pacific Business News’ 2024 “40 Under 40” list.
Stepec is the music director of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Symphony Orchestra. Hawaii He is head of the Youth Symphony’s symphonic program and artistic director of the Pacific Music Institute.

The 40 Under 40 class of 2024 marks the award’s 25th year, with recipients representing a variety of industries including restaurant, finance, nonprofit, retail and travel. The annual award recognizes emerging leaders across the state for their career achievements and contributions to their communities.
