Zelensky: Ukraine cannot do this alone
Ukrainian President Voldimia Zelensky said he understands Kiev’s allies have a “shared responsibility” for the strength and maintenance of the Ukrainian military.
Written in X, he states: Everyone understands this is a common responsibility when it comes to maintaining and strengthening such armies. Ukraine cannot do this on its own. ”
In another post he added: “Everyone understands that at the current pace we can strengthen Ukraine and Europe within five years, and we believe this is too long and too dangerous.
“We have shown we can do it faster during the war, but everyone has to act quickly. This means strengthening and significantly increasing production in all of our allies, and achieving security assurances across Europe.”

A full frontline statement from Zelensky
Providing frontline updates from the commander of the Ukrainian Army, President Voldymir Zelensky said: All Ukrainian units are grateful for their resilience and effectiveness in destroying the Occupants. The situation in the Pokrovsk direction is stable.
“Another note on the Kursk region. Operation of our forces in designated areas of the Kursk region continues. The units are performing tasks as needed. A considerable number of Russian troops have withdrawn from other directions thanks to the Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region. Our troops continue to hold back the Russian and North Korean groups in the Kursk region. There is no siege of our troops.
“We are also observing the direction along the eastern border of Ukraine, where the Russian troops are building their troops. This indicates our intention to attack our Sumy region. We are aware of this and we will counter it. I want all our partners to understand exactly what Putin is planning, what he is preparing and what he ignores.
“The accumulation of Russian troops indicates that Moscow intends to continue to ignore diplomacy. It is clear that Russia is extending the war. We are ready to provide our partners with all the actual information about the situation in front of us, along the Kursk region and along the border.
“We also had reports on our missile program today. There are concrete results. A long Neptune missile was tested and used successfully in combat. New Ukrainian missiles, accurate strikes. 1,000km range. Thank you to Ukrainian developers, manufacturers and military personnel. We continue our work to ensure Ukraine’s safety.
“Today, the Ukrainian Defense Minister has submitted a report from his partner on a new support package. We are protecting artillery supplies. I am grateful to all of the partners who are helping us.”
