GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Campbell County Health Department has been recognized for its outstanding performance in providing high-quality, safe care to pregnant women and their newborns, the health care organization announced Thursday.
The evaluation, conducted through U.S. News & World Report, designated CCH as a hospital with a high track record for obstetric care for uncomplicated pregnancies, according to a Dec. 12 release.
According to the release, U.S. News & World Report’s maternity services rankings are based on several factors, including cesarean section rates, neonatal complication rates, breastfeeding support, VBAC rates, episiotomy rates, and compliance with new birth-friendly federal practices. It rates hospitals based on key factors.
With this recognition, the local healthcare facility solidifies its position of prominence for its commitment to providing excellent care throughout the pregnancy and childbirth process and ensuring that both mother and baby receive the highest level of attention. It says that it will.
