CINCINNATI (WKRC) – U.S. News & World Report has released its 2025 Best Hospitals for Maternity Care rating, highlighting hospitals that excel in providing delivery services. Only half of the hospitals rated received a “best” rating.
Five Cincinnati hospitals made the list.
“With a record number of hospitals rated, U.S. News’ 2025 Best Hospitals for Maternity Care rating is the best ever for expectant parents,” said Dr. Jennifer Winston, health data scientist at U.S. News. It is a comprehensive resource.”
“These high-performing hospitals provide exceptional care to expectant parents, have significantly lower C-section rates, and lower rates of severe neonatal neonatal births compared to hospitals not recognized by U.S. News. It has been proven that there are no undesirable complications.
The evaluation, which began in 2021, is based on data submitted by hospitals. 817 hospitals participated in the 2025 edition, a record high. This assessment aims to help expectant parents make informed decisions about obstetric care for an uncomplicated birth.
