Former CNN and FOX News political chat host Tucker Carlson said he was “physically harmed” by the devil a year and a half ago. The assault left him with bleeding and “claw mark” scars.
In a preview clip for the upcoming documentary “Christians?” on YouTube, Carlson tells John Hiers of the nonprofit First Things Foundation that “the presence of evil causes people to question good.” I’ve been asked what I think.
“That’s what happened to me. I experienced it firsthand,” Carlson said.
When asked if he was referring to journalism, Carlson replied: “No, in bed at night. I was attacked, beaten and physically harmed while I was sleeping with my wife and four dogs.”
Carlson said she still bears the scars and said her assailant was “the devil.” “Or maybe something invisible left claw marks in my side,” he added.
He was reportedly asleep in bed at the time of the attack. I woke up “completely disoriented. I couldn’t breathe and thought I was going to suffocate,” he said.
“After walking around outside, I came in and found that neither my wife nor the dog were awake, and they were very light sleepers. And I had severe pain in my ribcage and shoulder, and I was in my boxers in the bathroom. I turned on the light and there were four claw marks on each side of my arm and under my arm. And they were bleeding.”
He added that he explained the incident to his evangelical Christian assistant, who told him, “Sometimes people are attacked by demons in their beds.”
Carlson, who lives in the woods of Maine, declined to say where the attack took place, but called it a “transformative experience” in which he was “captivated by a very strong desire to read the Bible.” .
Carlson was fired from Fox News after the company paid more than $787 million to settle a lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems over false statements and conspiracy theories about the 2020 election. Trials are a stumbling block for Donald Trump.
Speaking at a rally in Georgia last week, he told Trump supporters that the candidate’s chances of returning to the White House would be like his father returning to his hometown, and that Trump would give the country a “hard ass”. He said he would give it.
“He is not vindictive. He loves his children. Even though they are disobedient, God still loves them, because they are his children. They live in his house. But he’s very disappointed in their actions. And he’s going to have to let them know.”
“You know what your dad says when he gets home? ‘You’ve been a bad boy. You’ve been a bad boy and now you’re getting a hard spanking.’
