President Trump and Senator Roger Marshall argued today without evidence that “paid troublemakers” are behind the protests facing recent city hall meetings.
Marshall was booed at Kansas City Hall over the weekend and was plagued by questions about Musk-led Trump’s administration’s government efficiency efforts.
“Paying ‘troublemakers’ are attending Republican City Hall meetings. It’s all part of the Democratic game, but like our big landslide elections, it won’t work for them! ” Trump said true socially.
According to a video obtained by NBC News, Marshall was booed at a city hall meeting on Saturday after Doge employees allegedly had been vetted. After a while he insisted that they were given misinformation and encouraged more jealous people from the crowd.
Marshall excused himself from City Hall as he cried out that he hadn’t stayed for the hour that attendees had promised.
The progressive group organizes protests against Doge’s efforts, but there is no evidence that City Hall participants have been paid to the destroyers.
Marshall told NBC News today that those who booed him in his town hall over the weekend came from outside of town.
“People in big cities drove five hours, so we were able to silence real people who are in really tough times now. Agriculture is a really tough business right now, so it’s really sad.”
When asked how he knew people came from outside the town, Marshall said, “Oh, my goodness, over 85% of that county voted for President Trump. I’m not stupid. All I had to do was look at the car tags. When there are more Mercedes-Benzes than pickups, I know they’re not from the US countryside.”
