President Trump said he has revoked security clearances for more than 12 political enemies, including former President Biden, former Vice President Harris and several former Biden administration officials.
In a memorandum of the president released Saturday, Trump said it was “no longer in national interest” to allow individuals named to access classified information that he deems as retaliation for Biden’s decision to strip Trump in 2021 due to concerns about Biden’s description of Trump as “unsteady behaviour.”

The list of people affected is beyond Biden and his administration, targeting figures involved in Trump’s first blunder each trial, including Fiona Hill, Norm Eisen and Alexander Vindman. He is also named for former Antony Blinken and former secretaries of Hillary Clinton.
It also includes legal figures such as New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Two Republican critics, Trump, Liz Cheney and Adam Kintzinger, both served on the House Selection Committee, which investigated the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, but were also included in the memo.
Several former officials shrugged their movements pointlessly
The practical effects of movement may be minimal. Security clearance for former employees will be revoked upon retirement unless they continue to engage in national security issues. Many of those on the list have not had active clearance for years.

In a post on X, Eisen, a former special advisor to the House Judiciary Committee, who oversaw Trump’s investigation into 2019 bullet each, wrote:
Vindman, a former National Security Council official who testified at Trump’s bluff each hearing, dismissed the gesture as meaningless.
“This is like the third time I’ve already lost a security clearance. How many times does it take? Will this be a magical thing?
