The event recognizes the impact small and minority-owned businesses have on the local economy. The expo is free and open to the public. Tonight was the Expo Awards Gala. Our own Kara Peters was one of the hosts. Tonight WXII 12 General Manager Michelle received the Winston-Salem Business Advocate Award. The expo runs from 11 a.m. Saturday through Friday.
