Travis Kelce has built a reputation (the Chief’s version) from going out to Super Bowl afterparties following Kansas City’s back-to-back title victory in 2022 and ’23.
But after 40-22 blown losses on Sunday to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, the Chiefs star appeared to be out of the public eye.
Kelse’s new video took place online on Monday, and he appeared to be on a fascinating time call with a well-known music producer and spoke to them for a while.
It’s hard to make most of the audio from their conversations, but one member of the Chain Smoker can hear Kelse telling him, “I just played at your f— ing party.” It’s done.
Kelse partyed with Chain Smoker and his Chief teammates at last year’s Super Bowl afterparty at a Las Vegas nightclub where Kansas City just defended the title against the San Francisco 49ers. It was a more memorable night by the fact that his pop star girlfriend, Taylor Swift, essentially worked hard on their relationship and posted it on her social media accounts.
This time, there wasn’t much smile for the Chiefs Star, but he still seemed to be in good spirits.
Kelse himself said it best after the Chiefs’ 2019 AFC Championship victory: You have to fight for the rights of the party.
