Consumers looking for clothing built for outdoor performance will be pleased to see Canadian brand Arc’teryx land at Pacific Place.
This weekend, those seeking a more sophisticated style will be spoilt for choice with the new collection from Shanghai Tan, the long-established Hong Kong fashion house known for its modern takes on the elegant qipao, the traditional Chinese dress also known as the cheongsam.
1. Arc’teryx at Pacific Place
Outdoor enthusiasts are celebrating the opening of Canadian brand Arc’teryx’s eighth Hong Kong store at Admiralty Pacific Place on Hong Kong Island.
What makes the opening special is the launch of Veilance’s women’s collection, which blends outdoor functionality with contemporary urban cool, with sustainability at its core.
The brand’s motto is “Mountains Make Us Better,” and with that in mind, now’s the perfect time to head over to their new store.

It’s got everything you need for summer, and our favorite is Everyday Humans’ Resting Beach Face SPF30 Sunscreen Serum ($24).
We also can’t resist the Screen Recycled Plastic Swimming Shorts (US$158) from Hong Kong brand Mazu Resortwear.
The brand pays homage to the city’s maritime history by incorporating motifs such as sailing junks into its resort wear, made from fabric made from recycled plastic recovered from the ocean.
