Liverpool want to sign Diouf
TBR Football reports that the Reds are one of several teams interested in signing highly-rated Senegalese youngster Amara Diouf.
The 16-year-old is currently part of Senegal’s Generation Foot Academy, which is responsible for producing Sadio Mane and other top Senegalese stars.
Diouf came off the bench in September 2023 at the age of 15 years and 94 days, becoming the youngest player ever to appear for the Senegalese national team.
Generation Foot’s academy is affiliated with Ligue 2 side FC Metz and has previously supplied the club with players such as Mane, Ismaila Sarr and Papu Matar Sarr.
Mo Salah wants to move to Paris Saint-Germain if he does not sign a new contract with Liverpool, according to reports from Egypt’s Masrawi.
Despite interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, there have been no talks with Saudi clubs and it appears the Reds star wants to remain in Europe’s elite football.
It is worth adding that Salah’s desire remains to renew his contract with Liverpool. He’s not looking for an exit.
Neymar’s twist could change things
There is speculation that Al Hilal will appoint Mo Salah as Neymar’s replacement. After all, he could be the biggest star in the league, and they’re already willing to pay a record amount to get him to another club over there.
This is a problem for Liverpool as they look to tie the Egyptian to a new deal. Negotiations are already intense, especially when Saudi money may be lurking in the background.
However, Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg insists Neymar has no intention of leaving Al Hilal. At least, no one has informed players of that possibility.
Wonderkid rejects Liverpool
Spanish media outlet EN reports that Liverpool have lost out in the race to sign 18-year-old Brazilian star player Rayan Vitor.
The Vasco da Gama star has reportedly agreed to sign for Barcelona for a transfer fee of around £15 million. The Spanish giants faced competition from both Liverpool and Marseille for the youngster.
The young star has yet to find a clear position to play across the offensive line. Despite only scoring one goal and one assist this season, the attacker is highly rated.
Mamush is with the greats.
It has been reported in multiple places that Omar Marmouche is on Liverpool’s shopping list. I even get the impression that he’s pretty high on that list.
And why isn’t he? Marmouche is having a truly remarkable season, and his performance is practically begging for a move to the majors.
Marmouche’s big goal over the weekend was a free kick. That means he’s actually taking consecutive free kicks. It’s incredibly difficult and Eintracht Frankfurt were quick to point that out on Instagram.
