Timothy Jordan, 33, was identified as the person who stole Tory Howe’s $150 Apple iPhone 8 from the Highway 70 South Kroger on Sept. 21, 2023. According to the police report, after Howe finished shopping, she noticed her phone was missing from her shopping cart. Her son, Walter Howe, then tracked the phone to an EcoATM kiosk at the Dickerson Pike Walmart on Sept. 22, 2023.

Ms. Howe then provided her cell phone’s IMEI number. Officers then looked up her cell phone on Leads Online, which led officers to learn that Jordan was listed as the person who sold the stolen cell phone to an EcoATM kiosk on September 21, 2023 at 6:40pm. Ms. Howe informed officers that she would like to press charges over the incident. On November 20, 2023, a warrant was issued for Jordan’s arrest. Jordan was subsequently detained on August 27, 2024 on charges of theft.
Timothy Jordan, of Lafayette Street in Nashville, Tennessee, was booked into Metro Nashville Jail on August 27 for theft. A judicial commissioner set bail for him.
