U.S. News & World Report today announced its 2025 Best Online Program Rankings. Three market programs are ranked in the top 55 nationally.
Master of Business Administration programs saw the most dramatic rise, rising from 217th in 2024 to 55th this year. The program also ranked in the top 20 in three majors: 15th in Marketing, 17th in Finance, and 19th in General Management (Leadership).
Marquette’s computer and information science master’s program ranks 21st, making it within the top 25 for the third year in a row. The College of Nursing’s online program ranks 53rd.
The U.S. News & World Report online program rankings do not utilize standardized tests, but instead rely on expert opinions regarding faculty qualifications and training, services and technology available to students, student engagement, and the academic quality of the program. It depends on factors such as. Master’s degree programs are ranked based on these criteria, as well as evaluation of student excellence through undergraduate GPA, acceptance rate, and work experience.
