Solo travelers who like luxury, listen. You don’t have to pay twice on this cruise line to enjoy the gorgeous river you sail yourself.
Riverside Luxury Cruises has abandoned a single supplement in some suites across the fleet.
It is a line’s solution to a common problem. Solo travelers are often paid from river cruises in Europe for the “single supplement” fees for cruisers sailing alone in a cabin intended for two passengers.
“We recognize that solo travel is an important and growing trend, and at Riverside we are committed to creating a comfortable and comfortable environment for all our guests,” said Jennifer Halboth, CEO of Riverside Collection Americas. “By waiving a single supplement in some suites across the fleet, we aim to make river cruising more accessible to solo travelers, including women seeking to explore Europe independently.”
The Riverside Luxury Cruises single supplement exemption applies to a selected suite of Riverside Mozart and 110-seater Riverside Docusy and Riverside Labels. The three ships feature all-suite accommodations with king-sized beds, floor-to-ceiling windows and premium furniture.
The suites available to Solo Cruisers include Riverside Mozart’s 219-square-foot harmony suite. The stationary window room features a sofa, espresso coffee maker, bathrobes, slippers and a glass rain shower. Single Travelers can also book a 183-square-foot melodies suite with Riverside Debussy and Riverside Labels. The suite has a panoramic balcony window that drops at the press of a button and provides the same amenities as the harmony suite.
