The leading cause of home clothes dryer fires is not cleaning the dryer (34%). Household clothes dryer fires occur most often in the fall and winter, reaching their peak in January.

This dryer vent cleaner is easy to use and easily attaches to most vacuum cleaners. Just plug it into your lint vent and suck up any accumulated lint. This has the following effects:
Remove any accumulated lint from the dryer vent. Using your dryer regularly can reduce drying time by up to 15 minutes (and save you money!). It reaches places that regular vacuum cleaners can’t reach and thoroughly cleans them. Contributes to proper maintenance of dryers.
I purchased this dryer vent cleaner last year after having my dryer vent system professionally cleaned and learning about the dangers of dryer fires. I’ve always been diligent about removing lint from my dryer by hand before loading a new load of laundry, but I’ve always been frustrated by not being able to reach the lint and remove it. Ta.
This was an affordable and very easy solution for me. Because you just attach it to your vacuum hose (I use a central vacuum system) and it instantly sucks up excess lint and brings it into your vacuum system.
It’s also a great attachment to use when vacuuming hard-to-reach areas in your home (like small crevices/under the fridge) or in your car (under seats). The only downside is that the tube is quite bendable/flexible so it can be difficult to orient it in the right direction, but it does come with a metal rod to help sweep the dryer lint where you need it That’s what I’m doing. go! 👏
