The Viking will expand its river cruise offerings with seven new ships and three exciting itineraries for 2025, offering a luxurious journey through Europe’s most scenic rivers.
As spring begins in Europe, the Viking continues to expand its river cruise products with the launch of seven new sister ships. Additionally, the Viking is introducing three new itineraries this year, along with the popular European river voyage.
Earlier this week, the Viking delivered the latest river boat from Viking Nersus, a vessel built to navigate the Seine. Looking to the future, the Vikings are expected to deliver 25 more river boats by 2028 and nine sea boats by 2030, with a total of 109 river boats and 21 marine and expeditionary ships by 2030.
New River Voyage in Europe
On voyages from March to December, the Viking will offer three new itineraries along the Rhine, Main and Seine, offering guests the opportunity to explore more Europe in a Viking style, whilst continuing to offer popular river voyages.
2025 European River Season Highlights:
Line & Main Discovery (11th; Nuremberg – Basel)
