The Pentagon reportedly is trying to cut its private workforce at least 50,000 people
The Pentagon reportedly hopes to cut its private workforce by approximately 50,000-60,000 people, primarily through voluntary measures.
ABC News quoted: “The numbers sound high, but we’ll focus on percentages. A 5% to 8% reduction is not dramatic.
The cuts are expected to come from frozen employment, rejecting probation workers for work for less than one or two years, and receiving an offer to resign on full salary until the end of September.

Approximately 2,200 files, consisting of more than 63,000 pages on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, are available on the U.S. National Archives and the Bureau of Records websites. The Trump administration claims they were previously classified.

The paper says that historian David J Garrow “is unable to infiltrate deeper than all previous annotated ones.” Many of the documents released seemed difficult to read.
