Texas politicians expressed condolences and shared thoughts about the life and legacy of Jimmy Carter, the 39th president of the United States, following his death on Sunday.
Mr. Carter’s promotion of human rights and world peace left a lasting impression on leaders from all political walks of life.
In 2002, he received the Nobel Peace Prize for his work promoting peace, democracy, and health around the world.
