For Bentley Barker, a local junior high school student in the union, his lifetime wishes will be fulfilled.
His life battle between Bentley’s love for soccer and a congenital heart has led to his desire to go to New Orleans Super Bowl Lix. Bentley was originally said that his wish would be granted next year, but it changed on January 23, and it changed when the Bethesda Barker family gathered at the West Texas Road House in the St. Creators Building. The family told Bentley that he had met for his brother’s Caden’s birthday celebration, but Bentley was a surprise for his lifetime.
When Bentley arrived at the restaurant, he was given a huge box saying, “You are invited.” When he opened it, the snowstorm spilled, covered the table, and revealed a large cardboard ticket.

Bentley has suffered from health concerns since his birth. On July 11, 2011, Chelsea Barker gave birth to twin Bentley and Pakston, and Pakston first arrived. Bentley was rushed to a nursery because of the lack of oxygen, following a few seconds after arriving.
“He was born in the C section and came out blue. The surgery has switched to the lungs and aortic blood vessels in just two weeks. He was able to go home a month after the surgery.
Chelsea said he noticed that he had not used the right side in four months when Bentley started sitting.
“I noticed that he hadn’t used the right at all. I put small toys there and he would clearly reach his left,” she said.
She scheduled several CT scans and MRI, and Bentley led to the discovery that he had had anaerobic brain injury since he stopped for 25 minutes during his birth.
“He was the longest to arrest for cardiac arrest, but he had a few times due to brain damage, so he caused a stroke and later caused epileptic. Ta, “said Chelsea.
She added that Bentley had been professional and physiotherapy for epilepsy since he began to have seizures six months old. Following the seizure, he had an episode that loses consciousness and urged Chelsea to take him to several heart specialists. The external heart surveillance they used for him could not detect why he died.
“We did it for many years … (before the doctor), implanted the monitor and showed his heart in random within a few weeks,” she said. “Because it was in 2023, he returned to Pittsburgh, and they didn’t know why he had a coronary artery, so he decided to put in a pacemaker. They take it with medicine. I tried to treat it, but it didn’t really do anything, so they didn’t know why they would hinder them, so when they decided to go on a pacemaker. The pacemaker will kick in. ”
Bentley won the first pacemaker in January 2023. 6-8 months later, Bentley exercised and came to Chelsea and showed that his right arm was blue.
“Because he was left -handed, he planted a pacemaker on the right side. He has a hemiplegia on the right for stroke, so it took a few months, but his pacravian was his subclavian. Chelsea said in a completely blockade that he had a large thrombus on his pacemaker, “said Chelsea.
The doctor found a blood clot after the ultrasound. This discovery led to multiple dangerous surgery. Later, the doctor replaced the pacemaker with a new one that was directly embedded in the heart, rather than connecting the pacemaker to the veins like most pacemakers.
“I put a battery pack on my belly so that I can replace the battery. They last for about 15 years,” said Chelsea. “It was a big recovery for him. He didn’t want to get out of the bed, felt a lot of pain, and he had high pain tolerance for everything he had experienced since he was born. Masu.”
With the expectation of getting up and moving, Chelsea said that he had braided him with a Pittsburg Stillers ticket. And now the family is heading to the Super Bowl.
