Wisconsin Sports Betting Legal – But Limited
The American Gaming Association estimates that nearly $1.4 billion will be wagered in Super Bowl Lix. In Wisconsin, sports betting is legal and has some restrictions.
Milwaukee – The American Gaming Association estimates that nearly $1.4 billion will be wagered in Super Bowl Lix. Part of the reason is that sports betting is currently legal in 38 states, including Wisconsin.

“Since 2018, we’ve seen a total of 39 states legalize sports betting in some way,” said Mark Somerhauser in the Wisconsin policy form.
And that’s the key: some form.

Sommerhauser said most other states allow sports betting in online and in retail settings, but Wisconsin only allows for native tribal lands, primarily in tribal-owned or operated casinos. It’s there.
This year, this is the first time that a sportsbook has been opened for people to bet at the Super Bowl at the Potawa Tomy Casino Hotel in Milwaukee.
“I know that the majority of people who bet on sports do so responsibly,” Sommerhauser said.

The other side:
Sommerhauser warns that sports betting can be a slippery slope for some people.
“There are a few people who have a negative impact on their financial situation, that can really be dire,” he said.
Let me remind you that you don’t need money in the game to enjoy the game. Aga said if he plans to place a bet, he would make a plan. That includes following your budget and betting only within your means.
