MADISON — Wisconsin Manufacturing & Commerce — a combined state chamber of commerce and manufacturers association — recently spoke to 20th District Sen. Dewey Strobel (R-Cedarburg) at SEEK Careers/Staffing in Grafton last month. The state of Wisconsin presented the Working for Wisconsin Award. Most recent Congress. The Working for Wisconsin Award recognizes legislators who support specific pro-growth policies and earn high marks on WMC’s biennial Congressional Scorecard, according to a news release. This award is open to all Wisconsin legislators, but only those who consistently vote to make Wisconsin a better place to do business.
To work for a Wisconsin Award recipient, you must earn at least a 70% rating on the WMC Legislative Scorecard. The Working for Wisconsin Award is determined based on an individual’s voting record, regardless of their party affiliation.
