Stony Brook’s physician network is growing.
Dr. Shiva Colpoti and his practice, Three Villages Medical Care, based in East Setauket, and Dr. John Labiak’s practice, based in Smithtown, are both part of Stony Brook Medicine Community Medical Group. joined.

Labiak spoke about his long-standing ties to Stony Brook University School of Medicine.

Mr. Colpoti earned his medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College in Vijayawada, India, and completed his internal medicine training at Catholic Medical Center in Brooklyn and Queens, Queens.
Mr. Labiak earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Syracuse, completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Orthopedic Institute at Joint Disease Hospital in New York, and then completed a fellowship in spine surgery. He shares his knowledge and experience as a clinical assistant professor of orthopedics and neurosurgery at Stony Brook School of Medicine.
