The Skyhawks picked up their first win on Saturday.
EASTON, Mass. (AP) — Jarell Washington rushed for 184 yards and two touchdowns and Stonehill College jumped out to a big lead and beat Sacred Heart University 35-21 on Saturday, the Skyhawks’ first win of the season.
Washington scored on a 26-yard run early in the game, and the Skyhawks (1-2) took a 28-7 lead by halftime after Ashur Kalah threw touchdown passes to Chase Miller and Cody Ruff and Washington ran 72 yards down the right wing for another score.
Xavion Woodard had 354 yards on the ground for the Skyhawks, adding 110 yards and a score.
John Michalski completed 16 of 28 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown pass to Ethan Hilliman for the Pioneers (2-2). Jalen Madison ran for 110 yards and a score.
