St. Kitz and Nabis coastal guards have found 13 dismantling in a boat drift off the coast of the coast a few days after five more bodies were discovered in a skif near Trinidad Tobago.
Staff of the two Caribbean countries said that it would be immediately clear whether there was a link between the two incidents and who was the deceased.
Saint Kitz and Nabis Police Deputy Committee, Chromwell Henry, said that the 13 bodies found on Wednesday were in a degradation advanced state. He could not give the age or gender of the victim.
The Captainless Boat was dedicated to the coast and a survey was held.
On Saturday, a similar callout found a skif with five dead people on Trinidad Tobago, about 1,200 km (750 miles).
The officials said that the ship was poor and sank while being killed on the island.
Trinidad’s coastal guards pointed out the “impressive similarity” between the ship found on Saturday and another ship, including 15 bodies, in 2021.
It was presumed that the boat had immigrants from the African coast.
