Teagan King covers business and economic development in the St. Cloud region. King joins The Times from previous reporting jobs in Missouri.
A native of the Chicago metropolitan area, King graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in May with degrees in journalism and international studies.
She speaks fluent French and last year interned at MLex Market Insight in Brussels, Belgium, covering European Union energy law.
“We are excited to expand our newsroom,” Times Executive Editor Alice Manette said. “King will bring a fresh and exciting approach to St. Cloud.”
King most recently worked as a business reporter and newsletter writer at Missouri Business Alert in Columbia, Missouri, covering topics such as the impact of the drought on local businesses and farmers.
She previously interned as a business reporter at Kansas City PBS and covered local government and regional news at the Columbia Missourian, also in Columbia, Mo. She looks forward to working in another local newsroom and bringing you local business news.
