• There was much to celebrate as the Hull High School football team defeated Boston English 34-10 on Friday, improving their record to 2-1 on the season. This was a great result for the home crowd, who honored the seniors before the game and announced this year’s homecoming court. Many former players packed the stands for the reunion. This weekend, the team heads to the North Shore for the first of two away games. The Pirates will play Kipp Academy on Saturday, October 5th at Manning Field in Lynn. That noon game will be a rematch of the 2022 Division VIII Super Bowl, which the Pirates won 27-6. On Thursday, Oct. 10, the team will play at Randolph High School at 6 p.m., then return to its home field on Friday, Oct. 18 to take on Mashpee under the lights at 6:30 p.m.
• On Tuesday, the Hull High School boys soccer team lost 4-1 to the Norwell Clippers on the road, dropping the team’s record to 2-5-1 on the season. The next game will be against Sandwich on Friday, October 4th at 4:30 p.m. The Pirates will then play back-to-back home games against Middleboro on Monday, Oct. 7 at 5:30 p.m., and against Randolph on Wednesday, Oct. 9. 5:30pm
• Hull Youth Football and Cheer Photo Day is scheduled for Sunday October 13th. You can pre-order by visiting https://easternexposuresphoto.teamimaging.com and using the code Hullfootball2024. If you are ordering online, we strongly recommend placing your order prior to your shoot date as there will be an additional charge for orders placed after October 13th. Delivery of these orders may also be delayed. The schedule for the photo shoot day is as follows: C Team – Player photo session is at 8:30 a.m., cheer photo session is at 9:00 a.m. The match begins at 10am. A Team – Player photos at 10am, cheering photos at 10:30am. The match begins at 11:30am. B Team – Player photos at 11:30 a.m., cheer photos at 12 p.m. The match begins at 1 p.m.
