Boys’ Soccer: The Home Meridian

Meridian is taking early tests against the 2A state runner-up Sehome Mariners in the spring season. The Trojans, which finished 14-5-1 last season, graduated with two children and returned a handful of all meeting choices. Sehome has also returned several players, making it one of his early favourites to win the 2A state title this year.
WWU Softball vs. West Oregon
Viking Field on Friday, March 14th at noon and 2:30pm
Western Washington Softball held a conference play with a 2-2 record and is currently ranked 11th in the country with an overall record of 14-7. After a short break, the Vikings will return to Viking Field, where they will face West Oregon in the 4-game series on Thursday and Friday. The Vikings have already beaten Western Oregon three times this season.
The honey wagon runs
Saturday, March 22nd, 9am Nooksack Valley Middle School
The 42nd Honey Wagon Run will begin and end in the morning at Nooksack Valley Middle School. Participants can choose between a 4-mile course or a half marathon event. The registration fee ranges from $10 to $45 depending on whether you are a member of the Greater Bellingham Running Club and the event you want to compete in. Each race will receive ribbons and prizes to the top three runners.
