2B/1B/1A/2A District 1 Girls Wrestling State Qualifying
Saturday, February 8th at 9am Squarecum High School
Most of the top girl wrestlers at the Northwest Conference compete in a one-day district wrestling tournament at Scaricum High School. In the 2A category, the top four wrestlers from each weight class compete in the MAT Classic, with the other classifications having only two assignments for each weight class.
WWU Men’s Basketball vs Seattle Pacific
Saturday, February 8th at 7pm Carver Gymnasium
Western is the hottest team at the Great Athletic Northwest Conference, winning six straight games and jumping for the fourth time in the rankings. The Vikings struggled at the start of the season, but were able to close the game recently, including overcoming a 7-point halftime deficit against the Alascafe Abanks. Seattle Pacific is the second hottest team in the league with four consecutive wins. The Falcons came in third in the meeting ahead of the Vikings.

If you need a relaxing trek, follow the naturalist jazzman yoder in the river or forest, find mushrooms, learn the names of plants and fungi, and observe the animals. There are no specific trails so people can wander, socialize and observe nature. There is a recommended donation of $10 and advanced registration is required.
